“Old Captain Drake doesn’t care much for Christmas. He mostly keeps to himself, with a squirrel named Skipper as his only companion. But when he learns that his old shipmate Willie has gone back to sea, leaving his young daughter Matilda to spend Christmas with no tree, no lights, and no cheer, Drake knows what he must do. How can a lonely old sailor throw a celebration grand enough to raise Matilda’s spirits?”– Provided by publisher.
